Throughout the years we have spent caring for these children, we have truly realized that education is the cornerstone of a brighter future, empowering individuals and strengthening our communities. We are therefore proud to launch the HOL Education Fund with the dedicated mission of eliminating financial barriers to learning. This fund is established to provide crucial scholarships, technology access, and mentorship opportunities for both our in-house children and the 448 children benefiting from our Foodbank program. By supporting the HOL Education Fund, you are not just donating; you are making a direct, tangible investment in their potential, transforming their academic dreams into reality.

We proudly provide dedicated tuition classes led by our talented educators: Teacher Erene, Teacher Joanna, and Teacher Elisha.The primary focus is on significantly improving students’ language proficiency through personalized support, enabling them to achieve their highest academic potential.

Dr. Joseph Pang and Ms. Christine Lim regularly dedicate time to engaging in conversations with the children and attentively listening to their voices. We provide holistic care, addressing not only their physical but also their mental and emotional well-being.

🛫Our 1st Child Studying Abroad!!!
We are bursting with pride to announce that our eldest, Benjamin, is successfully pursuing his academic dreams abroad! He is currently completing his two-year program in Culinary Art and Restaurant Management at the prestigious Chinese Culture University (CCU) in Taiwan. Watching him thrive, gain international experience, and immerse himself in the vibrant culinary scene there has been an incredible journey. This experience is preparing him not just with world-class culinary skills, but with the global perspective necessary for a successful career in hospitality.
As Benjamin’s journey marks a major milestone, we recognize that there are many more children and growing needs coming. It is our heartfelt hope that we can help not just our own children, but also the wonderful children from the 448 Foodbank under our care to access similar educational opportunities, ensuring their futures are bright. To achieve this broad goal, the contribution and stable support of the public and community are crucial, allowing us to focus entirely on guiding and empowering these deserving students.
🏆 Celebrating Academic Breakthrough: Nicole and Mike
We are thrilled to announce the major achievement of two dedicated students, Nicole and Mike. Both students previously struggled and often failed their English examinations, but they have now achieved a significant turnaround.
The journey began with motivational talks and counseling from Ms. Christine. Her encouragement helped build their confidence and gave them a positive attitude to face academic challenges. Following this, they committed to personalized tuition over the last 7 t0 8 months.
As a result of this effort, Nicole and Mike not only passed their latest English exam but scored above 50%. This success proves that renewed self-belief, combined with dedicated teaching, leads to outstanding results in academics.

HOL & 448 Children 福爱&448 孩子们
Our project:
We are developing an Education Fund in order to support the children to be more independent & to acquire new skills. Your support will help to:
- Provide tutoring to the children for Communication skills, hone additional necessary Language skills & to prepare their future plans
- Introduce them into the working environment with visiting in F&B outlet and a trip to Kidzania (an Interactive Learning Education Theme Park for Kids to Role-playing Adult Activities) to discover some professions which may interest them for future career
- Provide tutoring to learn about personal financial management
- Help them to develop Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

HOL Education Fund Volunteer 教育基金志工队
Our HOL Education Fund volunteers are a bunch of people who having similar sight direction where we think that EDUCATION is playing an important role in one’s life. They willingly provide practical actions by visiting their home once a month, encouraging them, determining their real-time educational needs, giving cares & prompt supports.
Requirements (Volunteers):
- Education Level should be at least Diploma level in any field.
- Provide service in 448 (as a Permanent Volunteer) for a duration exceeding one year.
- Endorsed by the Division Leader(s) as appropriate.
